Teaching and Learning
Our Teaching and Learning at Warragul North Primary School is data-informed and aligned to the Victorian Curriculum. Our staff plan, assess and report on the Victorian Curriculum. We implement evidence-based best practice that both personalises and engages students into their learning, in conjunction with explicit teaching, collaborative and independent learning and guided instruction.
Our lesson structure and curriculum design are implemented utilising the evidence-based practices of Robert Mazarno’s, The Art and Science of Teaching, and the high impact teaching strategies.
Aligning to the Victorian Curriculum, students at Warragul North Primary school develop is the common set of knowledge, skills and capabilities required by students for life-long learning, social development and active and informed citizenship.
